Patricia's obituary

On January 10th at 7:15 p.m. ,Patricia “Pat" Ann Dorais, lost her battle with Alzheimer's and went home to be with her Heavenly Father at the age of 77. Not only was she a Mom to three children, a “Grammy" to four and a “Great Grammy" to three, but a friend and a partner.
Pat was born July 5th, 1941 to Elnora Tucci in Canajoharie, New York. She was later adopted by Lyle Andrews who was in the Army. She traveled throughout the United States and Europe, but settled in the San Francisco Bay Area for the majority of her life. She moved to Dallas, Oregon in the late 80’s and re-located to Bend in the mid 90’s where she lived out the rest of her life with who she referred to as her soul-mate, Ted. She did many things in her lifetime such as working within the Miss California Pageant organization, and the grocery industry until she became disabled. She did everything with Courage, Grace and Passion; however first and foremost were her children, grandkids and dogs (can't forget them). She was known for her candidness, compassion, feistiness and most importantly, unconditional love.
Pat is preceded by her Mother, Elnora, and father, Lyle, as well as, her grandbaby, Nathaniel. She is survived by her soul-mate Ted and her children, Martin, Jeffrey and Tricia; as well as her grandkids, Beth, Patricia, and Taylor , thus, three great-grandchildren Jordan, Brooke and another on the way. She carried with her many dear and loved friends along the way, but specifically a childhood friend of 65 years, Celia. There will be a gravesite service for friends and family to be announced at the Dallas Cemetery in Dallas, Oregon where she will be put at rest with her mother. The family asks that in lieu of flowers that a donations be made to The Alzheimer's Association of Oregon and SW Washington (Central Oregon Chapter) at alz.org or by mail in memory of Patricia Dorais.
