Patricia's obituary
With heavy hearts, we share the sad news of the passing of Patricia "Patsy" Dill, affectionately known as Patsy to her loved ones. Patricia was born on October 22, 1968, and she filled the lives of those around her with warmth and light until she passed away on February 15, 2025.
Patricia leaves behind her beloved daughter, Jasmine Dill, her son, Jonathan Jackson, and her siblings, Susan Smith, Robin Whetzel, and Glen Dowell. She joins her cherished daughter, Jainisha Dill, her devoted husband, Mark Dill, and her parents, Minnie Bare and Glen Sink, who predeceased her.
Patricia was a treasured family woman who found joy in home-cooked meals, savoring ice-cold Diet Dr. Pepper, and cheering for her favorite sports team, the Pittsburgh Steelers. Her sharp intellect shone during games of Scrabble, dice, and bingo, much to the delight of her friends and family.
A passionate reader, Patricia found solace and inspiration in the pages of her favorite book, The Bible, and enjoyed watching her favorite movie, "Man of Honor." She particularly loved watching The Olympics, immersing herself in the spirit of sportsmanship and global unity.
Patricia was resilient and loving, dedicating herself to the causes she cared about, such as supporting St. Jude’s. When not engaged in these activities, she loved spending time with family, dining out, and reading her Bible, all while adorned in her favorite color, pink.
Patricia will always be remembered as a person of remarkable spirit. She was loving, smart, resilient, determined, independent, and funny, touching the lives of all those she encountered. Her unwavering strength, infectious laughter, and selfless love will never be forgotten.
May she rest in peace and find joy in Heaven’s embrace. We love you, Patricia, and will miss you dearly. Your light will continue to shine in our hearts, and your love will remain a constant in our lives.
