With deep love and gratitude, we announce the peaceful passing of Patricia DenBleyker (née Montgomery), who left this world in her sleep at the age of 97.
Born March, 4th, 1928, Patricia carried with her the warmth, wit, and resilience of her Irish roots throughout her long and beautiful life. She was the beloved wife of Howard Daniel DenBleyker, and together they built a home filled with love, laughter, and lasting memories. As proud parents of three children, Patricia and Howard’s legacy of family and devotion lives on in each generation.
She leaves behind her son Howard John DenBleyker and his wife Joan, daughters Susan and Jamie, and son-in-law Gabriel Cabrera. She leaves behind three beloved grandchildren: Melissa and her husband Christopher Gibbons, Andrew Cabrera and his wife Jewel, and Paige Cabrera. She was also the proud great-grandmother of Chelsea and Hailie, and the loving sister of her “baby sister,” Shelia Romano. Patricia’s legacy extends to countless nieces, nephews, and friends whose lives she touched along the way.
Patricia was known for her vibrant personality and unmistakable spirit. She was sassy, sharp, and fiercely independent — never afraid to speak her mind or make her opinion known. She had a special way of doing things and a confidence that left a lasting impression on everyone she met. Her Irish charm, quick wit, and unwavering love for her family made her truly unforgettable.
Though she is no longer with us, her smile, laughter, wisdom, and determined spirit will continue to shine through those who knew and loved her.
May she rest in peace.
