Pat's obituary

Patricia Anne Culver, age 76, resident of Somerville, Tennessee, departed this life Saturday morning, March 4, 2023, at Baptist East Hospital in Memphis.

A Celebration of Life Service has been planned for Pat and will be held from 2 - 4 P.M. on Saturday, March 11, 2023, at the home of Mark and Glenda Ward. The family welcomes you to join them in remembrance and to celebrate her life.

Patricia “Pat” was born February 11, 1947, in Calhoun County, Mississippi the daughter of the late Minnie Wade Davis Graham and the late Oren Vickery Ward. She grew up in Hickory Withe, Tennessee, and lived most of her life either in Memphis, or in Fayette County.

She worked for many years in Property Management for Vantage, and The Weston Companies. After retirement, she founded The Plant People, which she ran for 10 years. She was also a proud and active member of the Daughters of the American Revolution.

Pat always looked forward to the Annual Davis family reunion in Bruce, Mississippi. She was instrumental in its organization for many years planning and recruiting most of the year to insure people would have a fun time. The weekend event was always a highlight of her year.

Pat is survived by her daughter, Sheri Conway (Bobby) of Nashville, TN; two sons, Ray Culver (Lauren) of Louisville, KY, Chris Culver of Memphis, TN; four sisters, Billie Gullett of Parrotsville, TN, Vicki Matheny (Danny) of Horn Lake, MS, Sandra Wilson (Jim) of Altamonte Springs, FL and Janet Watson of Jackson, TN; three brothers, Mark Ward (Glenda) of Somerville, TN: Mike Ward (Pam) of Hickory Withe, TN, and Scott Graham (Carol) of Lakeland, TN; her sister-in-law, Loretta Graham of Folsom, LA; ten grandchildren, Edgar Culver, Jackson Culver, Nora Culver, Oliver Culver, Lydia Culver, Dannah Holtzclaw, Cassidy Cole, Dustin Conway, Zoie Sansaverino, Bailey Culver; and five great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her stepfather, James V. “Jimmy” Graham, Sr. one sister, Teresa Ward Morris, and three brothers, James Graham, Jr., David Graham and Lanny Graham.

Pat asked that in lieu of flowers you consider a donation to one of the following organizations that were important to her.
