Patricia Ann Cotton Franks, 68, entered eternal life on Wednesday evening, April 20, 2022. Patricia was born March 28, 1954 in Birmingham, Alabama to Billy Joe and Molly Jo Cotton. She was a lifelong resident of Gardendale, Alabama, where she met and married her husband of 47 years, Ed.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Henry Edwin Franks, her parents, Billy Joe & Molly Jo Cotton, as well as her grandson, Daniel Paul Clark.

She leaves behind and will be remembered by her daughter, Tara JoManta Franks Darty and her husband Chris, as well as her grandchildren; Montanna Eleese, McKenna JoLee, and Cooper Rhodes. Brothers Joey (Carrie), and Mark Cotton, as well as niece Kourtney (Jeremey) Keith and their children that she claimed as grandchildren: Hayden, Liz, Cullyn, & Shepherd Keith. Many additional friends and family members will deeply miss and remember the life of Tricia.

A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, April 23, 2022 with visitation at 1 pm and a service to follow at 2 pm at Riverchase United Methodist Church in Hoover, AL.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the family to be split between the Hoover High School and Jasper High School Wrestling Programs in honor of Ed and Patricia's lifelong love and support of the sport.
