Pat and I shared four beautiful grandchildren, through birth, baptisms, first communion, then confirmations, also birthdays and Christmas Pageants and with four of them, that was many visits to Canada!   Charlie would be there too and often Pat's beloved sisters Ann and Eileen.  It was always a fun time when the Donovan sisters got together, reminiscing and always laughter.  The visits usually ended with the four of us going to the best steakhouse in town, then back home to the family  for more time with her beloved family.

Pat was a lovely singer, inherited by her daughter Nancy, then passed on to Nancy's children, who also play multiple instruments, inherited from their Uncle Charlie, an amazing trumpet player!

I know Pat's three granddaughters will be singing at the funeral and am sure Pat will be proudly looking down.

I am sorry that I won't be there in person to say goodbye to my dear friend Pat, but I will be watching and listening on line!
