It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Patricia "Pat" Capulong born on September 2nd, 1936, who passed away on January 2nd, 2026. Patricia was known affectionately as Pat by those who knew and loved her, but she preferred the formal grace of her full name.

Her surviving family includes her beloved daughters, Janice Brown and Geraldine Montemayor, her beloved sons, Robert Capulong and Chris Capulong who she held very dear. Patricia was a woman of strong faith, regularly attending The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. Her dedication to her faith was evident not only in her regular attendance at church but also in her selfless service to others. This was illustrated by her volunteer work with Doctors Without Borders, where she spent countless hours providing support to those in need.

Patricia's personal interests were as diverse as her palate. A lover of Thai foods and Italian classics, she was also partial to an ice-cold Coca Cola and pink lemonade. Patricia had an insatiable appetite for literature. She counted among her favorite books Project Hail Mary, Onyx Storm, and The Body Keeps the Score. Music was another of Patricia's passions, with Lara's Theme from Dr. Zhivago being a personal favorite tune.

Her entertainment preferences included classical PBS shows and films such as Ganja and Hess, Mary Poppins, and The Sound of Music. A keen games player, Patricia often engaged in lively rounds of Scrabble, Chess, and Bingo. She relished watching performances of The King and I and Phantom of the Opera, and she enjoyed getting out and about, walking different trails and sailing, with walking and swimming being her preferred forms of exercise.

Patricia had a soft spot for travel, particularly to South East Asian countries like Thailand, Philippines, and Malaysia. Part of her heart always remained in these places, even when she returned home. She was a woman who cared deeply about her community and her faith, dedicating much of her time to serving the Mormon Church. Her favorite color, pink, was reflective of her personality - bubbly, warm, and witty.

Patricia's life, love, and laughter will be forever missed, but her legacy will live on through the countless lives she touched during her lifetime. Rest in Peace, Patricia Capulong.
