Patricia “Candy”'s obituary

Patricia "Candy" Dubois, lovingly known to friends and family as Candy, was born on June 7, 1970, and passed away on January 10, 2024. Patricia's life was one of compassionate support and devotion to her family, in which her love knew no bounds. Her heart, immense and welcoming, was a beacon of comfort to all who knew her.

Patricia is survived by her children, Amanda Plemons, Michael Olson, Crystal Dubois, Justin Dubois, and David Dubois, who will forever cherish their memories of their beloved mother. She is also survived by her Grandchildren; Nevaeh, Cameron, Kamiyah, Brayden, Alivia, LeiLaney, Caylee, Zayleigh, Tiana, Cara Jo, Charlotte, and Cali.

Patricia was predeceased by her husband, Michael Dubois.

Her family was her pride and joy, and she cherished every moment spent with them, particularly her children and grandchildren. Her favorite pastime was being with her kids and grandkids, who are a testament to the dedication and affection she held in her heart.

Patricia was a woman of simple yet refined tastes. She enjoyed the decadent delight of a Cappuccino Blast. Her go to for every day! A fan of 80s and 90s Country Music, which she passed down to her daughter, Amanda. Amanda vividly remembers being a young child and singing in the car with the windows down with her mom. Her favorite movie was dirty dancing and her favorite part was Patrick Swayzes nose scrunch at the end!

Her life's wisdom, which she passionately shared with those around her, was encapsulated in her principle of always being there for one another and loving everyone. This principle is a testament to Patricia’s enduring legacy. Her memory to touch hearts and relate to everyone she encountered was an embodiment of her magnanimous spirit. The loss of Patricia leaves an irreplaceable void within our lives.
