Patricia Nellie (Moser) Callahan, 79 years of age of Berkley, Michigan passed away February 10, 2023 from renal disease and cancer at home under hospice care with her daughter Cathy at her side. Patricia (Pat) was born July 02, 1943 to the late Milton Jr. and Nellie (VanDeVen) Moser. She graduated from Berkley High School and enjoyed keeping in touch with her former classmates. Patricia would go on to retire from Michigan Bell / ATT after starting as an information operator. While working there she received recognition for assisting a child in need over the phone. She also worked in security, the print shop, and as a computer tape librarian. One of Patricia's favorite accomplishments was learning to drive a semi-truck and traveling through many states from the east coast to the central US with her friend. Pat enjoyed spending time with family, reading, crocheting, watching tv and socializing with friends. Pat enjoyed the companionship of her four legged friends. Patricia and her former spouse, Ken Callahan, had three children together.

She is survived by her children Timothy (Gwen) Callahan (Stephenson, VA), Catherine (Bill) Young (Royal Oak, MI), and Eric (Shannon) Callahan (Frankenmuth, MI), 4 grandchildren: Nicholas (Hannah) Greer-Young, Joshua and Tyler Young, and Brandon Callahan; brothers Dennis (Doreen), Mike, and Chris, sister-in-law Vickie Moser and many beloved nieces and nephews. Pat was preceded in death by her sister Lynn (Don) Stuart, brother Kevin, and sister-in-law Lee.

A Memorial service for Patricia will be held March 11, 2023 at Royal Oak First United Methodist Church, 320 W 7th St., Royal Oak, MI 48067. Visitation will be at 10 am until the time of service at 11 am. Donations in lieu of flowers can be made in Patricia's name to Royal Oak First United Methodist Church, or the Royal Oak Animal Shelter. As Pat had low vision, we will also be collecting eye glasses to donate.
