Background
Patricia Sue Bourquin (known as Pati to her many friends and family) was Born in Great Falls, Mt on May 16th 1957 to Odie and Jackie Bourquin. She passed away peacefully at Milwaukie Providence hospital on March 30th at the age of 64 surrounded by loved ones due to complications from the Multiple sclerosis that she had been battling for so many years.
Pati was loved and will be missed by so many people. She spent the majority of her life in the Clackamas County area of Oregon, where she was very proud to have a career as a school bus driver. Pati will be remembered for her love of gardening and plants, her epic camping trips, her creative artistic outlets of ceramics, crochet, and sewing and of course her blue bottle and rock collection. She instilled in her daughters a love of music and movement through the introduction of Blondie, Heart, and Fleetwood Mac and many days trying to keep up with her “dancing like no one was watching” and Jane Fonda workouts. We will never be able to fully express our gratitude to Scott Moore for his loving care of Pati over the many years that they spent together, the multitude of mochas and walks and medical care and just the love that Scott provided to her is beyond measure.
Pati is survived by her long term partner Scott Moore, her mother Jackie Bourquin, her three daughters Jaime Coffey, Amber Coffey-Rankin (husband Rick Rankin), Allison Rhinevault (husband Jordan Rhinevault), her Eight Grandchildren Avery Coffey, Miranda Rankin, Oliver Rankin, Zoey Bateman, Caruso Bateman, Kaylee Bruce, Savannah Rhinevault, and Lilliana Rhinevault, her siblings Lori Mchearan (husband Jim Mchearan and daughter Rachael Swalling) and Jim Bourquin (children Madison Bourquin and Carter Bourquin) Pati was preceded in passing by her father Odie Bourquin, and Siblings Kenny Bourquin and Traci Bourquin (children Will, Micah and Joelle)
Pati’s daughters will be hosting a celebration of Life for family and friends this summer, date TBD. If you would like further information please email Amber at rankinjra@comcast.net
All funds donated here will be used for memorial expenses- anything beyond that will go Scott Contribute
