With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of our beloved wife, mother, and grandmother, Patricia Schwartz, who peacefully departed this life on February 21, 2026.

Patricia was a devoted wife to her husband, James Schwartz, for 46 years, and a loving mother to Carl Zwanzig, Roxanne Rilo (Jose), and Mary Dale (Jesse). She was a proud and cherished grandmother to Darien Lewis, Tierra Sharks, Alays Sharks, Mark Sharks, Joshua Zwanzig, Amanda Zwanzig, Jose Rilo, III and Juliana Rilo plus her great grandchildren, Raphael Scott, Jr, Zaviar Patterson, Dior Stiff, Tyson Sharks, Ryder Zwanzig, Harley Zwanzig and Elliott Budris Jackson-Zwanzig, who were the light of her life. Her family was her greatest joy, and she poured her heart and love into them.

Born on December 13, 1946, in Nashville, TN. Patricia lived a life filled with kindness, strength, and grace. She had a warm smile that could brighten any room and a gentle spirit that made everyone feel welcome. Whether through home-cooked meals, heartfelt advice, her endless volunteerism, or simply her steady presence, she created a space filled with love and comfort.

She was known for her generosity, sarcastic humor, resilience, and making sure we knew it was to be done “her way.” Patricia will be remembered for her unwavering devotion to her family and friends. Her legacy lives on in the values she instilled, the traditions she created, and the countless memories she leaves behind.

She is survived by her loving husband, James; her children; her grandchildren; her great-grandchildren; and her siblings, Mike Kelley (Loressa), Larry Kelley, and Debbie Rutherford (Steve).

Though our hearts are broken, we find comfort in knowing that her love will remain with us always.
