Patrice Ramona Hester was born January 25th 1954 to Ruby Patricia

and Raymond Allen Moore in Baltimore Maryland. She is survived

by her daughters Nakisha, Quiana and Ariana, whom she shared

with her late husband Dino Hester. The eldest of 6, she is also

survived by her siblings Jachin, Misty, Joy and Darius and her niece

Sierra; along with many other extended family who lovingly knew

her as Shane.

Patrice was known and loved by many for her compassion and good

advice. Her natural ability for being a motherly figure and genuine

friend was felt by many. She shared a passion for singing with her

mother and passed on a natural talent for writing and a love of

science to her daughters. She always found peace tending to her

garden and the most joy spending time with family.

Her combination of skills and passions led her to a career as a

medical writer and reporter for NiH. After the birth of her daughters

she decided to change paths in order to homeschool her children

and build a lasting family bond. Her adventurous spirit inspired a

coast to coast move from Maryland to California via train and would

lead to many lasting friendships.

As a 3rd generation Witness, love of Jehovah was always at the

forefront of everything she did and believed. Her life goal was to

instill that in her children and to be reunited with her parents, sister

Caron, husband Dino, and her cousin Okima.

The impact she left on those who knew and loved her will be felt far

and wide as we eagerly await the day when we will see her again.
