Pasqualina “Lee”'s obituary
It is with profound sorrow that we announce the passing of a beloved matriarch, Pasqualina “Lee” Damone on April 18, 2024. Born on September 21, 1935, Lee lived a fulfilling and notable life, spreading her warm, loving, kind, and generous spirit to everyone she knew.
Lee was predeceased by her devoted husband, Joseph Damone. She is survived by her children: daughter, DeeAnn Davis, and son, Gregory Pizzuto. Lee was also a cherished grandmother to Dayna Call (Michael Call), Kayleigh R., Natalie R., Lilyana R., Aliyah R., Brynlee S., Andrew C., Megan D., and Gregory J. P.. Her grandchildren were the light of her life, and she lovingly participated in their lives and activities.
Lee was known for her love of games; one of her favorites being Words with Friends. She enjoyed the camaraderie and mental challenge the game provided, often playing with her grandchildren and teaching them her strategic methods.
Lee was best known for her gentle admonishment to love one another and her favorite motto, “take care of number 1” meaning to never forget personal needs while also being considerate and generous towards others. This was not a call for selfish behavior, rather an emphasis on self-love and preservation as a foundation for extending genuine love to others.
She left behind a powerful legacy of love for her family, a legacy reflected in her words and actions. She often expressed her love for her family, and her actions mirrored this sentiment. Lee's life lessons and her immense capacity for love are her enduring legacy. She will be deeply missed but forever remembered by all who were fortunate to have known her.
