Pasquale Santo “Pat” Mizzone (Tanucci), 70, passed away on April 6, 2025, at Palm Beach Nursing Center after a brief illness.

Originally from Connecticut, Pat lived in Milford, Norwalk, and Monroe before heading south to Lake Worth, FL. He was a proud 1973 graduate of Masuk High School, Pat went on to work at Perkin Elmer, Pitney Bowes, and later Window & Door Design of Florida. He was also known for being a favorite bartender in many Norwalk establishments over the years.

Pat was charming, witty, and was a natural-born athlete, with a competitive streak and a heart as big as his swing — whether it was on a baseball field in Monroe, a softball diamond in Norwalk, or in later years, dominating Wii Golf like it was the PGA tour. He played, he umpired, and he never passed up a chance to throw darts, shoot pool, or show off his knowledge of his beloved New York Yankees, Giants, or Rangers.

But don't let the Budweiser and sports stars fool you. Pat was sharp as a tack. He was incredibly smart and could crush a crossword puzzle in minutes. He also had a not-so-secret talent for card games, particularly Uno, where his competitive streak came out, he lived for throwing out the WILD card.

He was a proud member of Pastimes and Eagles social clubs in Norwalk and believed in living life fully and loudly. His perfect day? Elton John blasting on the radio, a cold Budweiser in hand, and a story to tell — preferably one that got better (and funnier) with every retelling.

Pat is survived by his daughter, Jennifer Mizzone Doria of Norwalk; his niece Courtney Wojnarowski Boyle (Tom) of Milford; and three of his greatest joys — grand-niece Ava Wojnarowski and grand-nephews Johnny and Hunter Wojnarowski, who brought him endless pride. He loved watching them play sports and hearing all about their adventures in school.

He also leaves behind a tight-knit circle of friends he considered family — the ones who stood by him during the highs and lows, even if he wasn’t always the best at saying thank you (but he meant it, deeply).

Pat was predeceased by his father, Pasquale Mizzone, and his stepmother Ellie Mizzone of Milford.
