Pamela's obituary
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Pamela Williams on July 28, 2023. Born on July 12, 1959, Pamela was a woman of immense love, who devoted her life to her family and faith.
Pamela leaves behind her loving husband, Marty Williams, and their children, Melinda Chatry (Sonny), Nick Williams (Jamie), and Lisa Williams (Lee). She was the proud grandmother of Andrew Chatry, Ethan Chatry, Kayleigh Chatry, Mya Simmons, Aly Simmons, and Gabe Williams. She was also a very proud great-grandmother to Heavenly Chatry. She also leaves behind several fur babies whom she loved dearly. She was preceded in death by her father, Louis Kump, and her brother, Kevin Kump. She was also tragically preceded in death by her granddaughter, Kaytlyn Chatry. Pamela is also survived by numerous other relatives and friends.
Pamela had an affinity for home-cooked meals, chicken livers, and all kinds of pies. A fan of Dean Koontz, Nora Roberts, Stephen King, John Grisham, Diana Gabaldon, and James Patterson, you could often find her lost in a good book. She found joy in the music of George Clinton, Elton John & Kiki Dee, Michael Bolton, Phil Collins, Bonnie Raitt, Stevie Wonder, and Marvin Gaye.
She was an avid viewer of Outlander, NCIS, and Game of Thrones and enjoyed playing Candy Crush, Mahjong, Rummy, and Tetris. She loved earth tones, the color green, and "Coke-Can Red" and engaged in cooking and baking, praying for her family every morning, sewing, and crafting as her favorite hobbies.
Known for her precious and genuine personality, Pamela was a loving and God-fearing woman. She showed us the beauty of loving Jesus, the art of cooking great Southern food, and the importance of family. To her, family was not just an accomplishment, but the greatest one. Her marriage to Marty was one of her most cherished accomplishments. He was the love of her life and her other half.
Pamela leaves behind a legacy of strong faith, loyalty, and fierce love for her family and friends. Her happiest times were when she was surrounded by her family, creating amazing meals, making memories, and cracking jokes. Her absence will be deeply felt by all who had the pleasure of knowing her. Her memory will never be forgotten.
