Pamela's obituary

Pamela Sue Shamp

July 5, 1951 – December 9, 2025

Pamela Sue Shamp, 74, of Blaine, MN, passed away peacefully on December 9, 2025, surrounded by her family and loved ones after complications from heart surgery. Her journey was filled with love, and her soul was embraced by those who meant the most to her.

Pam was born on July 5, 1951, to Rosalie and Vernon Arndt in Wilseyville, California. In 1971, she moved to Minnesota for the love of her life, Ronald Eugene Shamp, and together they built a beautiful life. Pam and Ron recently celebrated 54 wonderful years of marriage on November 23, 2025.

She is survived by her devoted husband, Ron; her children Teresa (Jim) Weiss, Kristie Shamp, and Joey (Jennifer) Shamp; her cherished grandchildren Sheldon Fenne (Jamie Stewart), Jake Fenne, Michaela Fenne, and Samantha (Stewart) Campbell; and her great-grandchildren Zander and Zailee Fenne. She is also survived by her brothers Jim (Sue) Arndt and Chuck (Kathy) Arndt. Pam was preceded in death by her parents, Rosalie and Vernon Arndt.

Pam’s greatest joys were tending to her gardens, playing bingo, and spending time with family and friends. Her warmth, laughter, and love will forever live in the hearts of those who knew her.

A Celebration of Life will be held on January 3, 2026, from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Sgt. John Rice VFW Post 6316, 1374 109th Ave NE, Blaine, MN 55434.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the VFW, an organization that supports veterans and their loved ones.
