Pamela's obituary

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Pamela Renee' Minto, 59, of Hebron, Indiana, who left us on July 28, 2023. Born on March 27, 1964, in Hammond, Indiana to James and Martha Cheek, Pam grew up in Crown Point, Indiana graduating from Crown Point High School. She will be dearly missed and always remembered.

Pam was predeceased by her parents, James and Martha Cheek, and sister, Martha Diane Gibbon. She is survived by her loving husband, Ronald Minto, her sons, Steven Ray Myers, Kenneth B. Myers, her daughter Melissa Marie Myers, step-sons Robert Minto, Todd (Lynette) Minto, Phillip Terna, fifteen beautiful grandchildren, sister, Denise (Adrian) Kuypers, brother James Steven Cheek, and fourteen nieces and nephews.

Pam had a deep love and passion for music, and one of her crowning achievements was to self-taught herself to play the guitar. Her voice, paired with her strumming, harmonized to create beautiful melodies that many enjoyed.

Pam's love for her family was immeasurable and was especially evident in her fondness for her grandchildren. She was an unwavering support for her family, generously sharing all she had with them. Her genuine care and affection for her loved ones will forever be imprinted in their hearts.

The family wishes to express their gratitude for the support and kind words during this challenging period. Her memory will forever remain vivid in the minds of all those who were fortunate to know her, and her life will be celebrated in the way she lived – with love, laughter, and music. A celebration of life is planned for Saturday, September 2, 2023, 2:00 pm, Signature Banquets, 1908 E. Commercial Ave.  in Lowell, Indiana.
