1947 - 2023

Pamela J. Meilton, aged 76, passed away peacefully in Worthington, OH, on Sunday, October 15, 2023. Born May 3, 1947, she was the daughter of the late Angelo J. Spanogians, M.D., and Frances Adelia Huber Spanogians. A respected English teacher at Eastland Career Center, she impacted lives for three decades.

A long-time resident of Pickerington, Pamela relocated to Worthington earlier this year to be closer to family. She was married to the late Andrew Bernard Meilton for over 50 years.

Survivors include her son Brian Meilton, daughter-in-law Erin Meilton, grandchildren Arlo and Reese, sister Becky Allyn Spanogians of McDonald, brother James G. Spanogians and wife Elsie of Columbus, Ga, and several nieces and nephews.

Pamela treasured time with her grandchildren and close friends—affectionately known as “the Gang.” She enjoyed reading, gardening, an oaky Chardonnay, and a strong cosmopolitan. An ardent dog lover, she also found joy in beach retreats.

A private family memorial will be held in the Outer Banks, NC on February 20, 2024.
