2 weeks before my mom passed she told me she wanted to be cremated and then her ashes buried with her mom and dad. At first I'm not gonna lie I really didn't like the idea, but she made me see why and I agreed to make sure it happened (thinking I still had plenty of time to change her mind). 2 weeks later my mom passed, unexpectedly. When setting up the funeral and her final wishes I got a hold of her bank and life insurance company, only to find out that 1~ ALL her money was gone, and 2~ her life insurance policy was no good because she had quit paying on it. I couldn't understand any of this, it just wasn't like my mom. Come to find out she has been talking to a man on Facebook, which we later found out was a scammer. My mom sent every dime she had to this man. She had sold her house, her 1964 Thunderbird, anything she could to send this man money. After contacting police we come to find there's nothing that can be done. This supposed man has actually hacked one of my mom's Facebook accounts and is using it with his FAKE name Troy and my mom's last name and my mom's photos. I followed my mom's wishes and had her cremated. The problem is the funeral home won't release my mom's ashes until they are paid. Im not able to pay it. Thru some bad decisions and wrong ideas I'm alone, no job at the moment and living out of my mom's truck. I'm not one to ask for help but I need to get my mom with her parents, I feel like such a failure! So I'm asking if you are able to help, please it would mean so much.
