Pam's obituary
We regretfully announce the passing of Pamela "Pam" Gardner, who gently departed this world on August 19, 2024. Born in 1952, Pam was a beloved by family and friends, known for her warmth, caring nature, and no-nonsense attitude.
Her spirit, epitomized by her 'give no crap/take no crap' philosophy, touched many lives. Highly compassionate, Pamela never met a kitty she didn't like, often caring for ones in need. Her love for animals mirrored her deep affection for those around her.
Pamela leaves behind an enduring legacy of love, enriched by her beloved partner, Thyra Bauman, with whom she shared 36 happy years together. She is also survived by her brothers, Mike, Jay, and Jeff Gardner, her sister Beth Winchell, and her stepsons Jordan Bauman, Paul Bostwick, and James Bostwick, assorted nieces, nephews, and grandkids. Her family, friends, and assorted furry persons brought love and happiness to her life.
Her journey to the next adventure will see her reunited with her late parents, Wendell Gardner and Betty Gardner Winschell, her brothers, Barry, Terry, and Paul Gardner, and all the kitties waiting at the end of The Rainbow Bridge for her. Their memory lived on in Pam, as will hers in our hearts.
A lover of the fantastical and whimsical realms of fiction, Pamela delighted in the Dragon Riders of Pern series and indulged in her passion for Godzilla movies and classic sci-fi. She loved anything to do with rocks, and would show them to you at the drop of a hat.
Pam loved her kitties and wanted all of them to be happy and cared for.
Through our memories, Pam's light and laughter will continue. We can find comfort in knowing she lived a full life, brimming with love and passion for the things and beings she cared about.
