Pamela's obituary
Pamela Ann Grant, of Epping, England, passed away, surrounded by her family, on February 5, 2024, in Jacksonville, Florida, at the age of 83.
Pamela was a fun-loving person who had a talent for bringing joy and laughter to those around her. Whether through her quick anecdotes, humorous Facebook posts, or the stories she shared, Pamela had a gift for brightening any room she entered. Her presence alone could uplift the spirits of those near her. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
She is survived by her sister, Irene Fuller; brother, John Faram; daughter, Karen Hawkins; son, Jason Grant (Daniel); granddaughters: Heather Steger (Justin Pickeral), Haley Conover (Michael), Natalie Paxton (Zack), Katrina Grant, Emily Grant; grandson, David Thomason (Whitney); and great-grandchildren: Lucas, Cameron, Bentley, Oliver, Lucy, Colt, Dalton, and Blakelyn.
Pamela was preceded in death by her husband, John Grant; father, William Faram; mother, Irene Faram; and brother-in-law, Eric Fuller.
In her free time, Pamela enjoyed hobbies such as quilting, embroidering, Wii bowling, and many other functions organized by her retirement community’s activity committee. She especially loved their Social Saturdays, the PotLuck gatherings and the Lunch Bunch outings she initiated and coordinated herself.
A Celebration of Pamela's Life will be held on April 13th at 4 PM at the Newburg Volunteer Fire and Rescue Department in Newburg, Maryland. To honor Pamela, the celebration will be a potluck. Bring a dish to share if you like.
Pamela will be remembered for her infectious laughter, kind spirit, humorous storytelling and her ability to spread happiness wherever she went. Her memory will live on in the hearts of those who were fortunate enough to know her.
