Pam's obituary

Pam McLeod, 72, of Auburn, Washington, passed away on December 9, 2020 due to complications from COVID after a long battle with dementia/Altzheimers disease.

Pam was born on January 11, 1948 to Bernie & Dorothy Holstenson in Seattle, WA. After graduating from Sealth High School, she lived in Seattle, Valley (near Spokane), Covington, and Auburn, Washington.

Pam worked at Cabrini Hospital in Seattle, Department of Natural Resources in Colville, and for most of her working career before retirement at Mitchell Moving & Storage in Seattle. Pam was known for her bright smile, great sense of humor, and dedication to her job. She brought her world famous "spinach dip" to every work pot luck, and many of her work friends were her best friends in life.

Pam married Patrick "Mac" McLeod in 1984, and moved to Covington. She enjoyed camping, going to sprint car races, and especially loved visiting Cabo San Lucas, Mexico. Pam loved being a mom to her two children, Dawn and Joe, and her stepson Jim, Karen and Mike, granddaughters Allison, Sarah and Grandson Josh. Her kids and grandkids meant everything to Pam.

Pam was a passionate about animals, and always had a lot of them in her life. Her dogs Sargeant, Radar, Emitt, Rita, Tiger Rose were her constant companions. She also went through a phase of having chickens, ducks and geese in the backyard, along with the dogs at the time. We will miss her warmth and enthusiasm for life greatly.

Pam was predeceased by her mother and father. She was an only child. Her daughter and son were not only her children, but her best friends in life.

There will be a memorial/celebration of life hosted by Dawn in Summer 2021.
