Paige's obituary
Paige Johnson Snider (Laurie Paige Johnson) passed away on November 3rd, at Ascension Sacred Heart Bay Hospital in Panama City, Florida. She was surrounded by her family who she loved endlessly.
Paige was born on Valentine’s Day 1946, in Anniston, Alabama where she lived most of her life. She was preceded in death by her parents James (Jimmy) Johnson and Gracie (Winnie) O’Kelley Johnson, her sister Francis (Gail) Johnson, her first husband Carl (Eddie) Fleming and her oldest daughter Kimberly Fleming Webb.
Paige, often called “Grandma” is survived by her husband Phillip Snider, siblings Susan Johnson Webb and James “Neal” Johnson, son Mark Fleming, daughter Shea Fleming, and five grandchildren: Tucker Webb, Kaylee Graben, Madison Webb Mitchell, Ryleigh Fleming Lambert, and Savannah Stevens. Her pride and joy were her four great-grandchildren, ranging in age from seven years to just a week old, and she was thrilled to know that two more are expected in Spring of 2024. She also had a large circle of extended, in law, step family and as well as a lifetimes worth of devoted friends. Her joyful and mischievous nature, capacity for love, and excellent cooking will be deeply missed by everyone who knew her.
Her true and fierce loves were her family, Alabama Crimson Tide Football, and the Gulf Coast. She was a dedicated daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother who spent her life giving all of herself to the people around her. In retirement, she and Philip moved to Panama City Beach, her second hometown, and she lived at the beach just like she always wanted.
