Tillie's obituary

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Ottilie "Tillie" Incorvaia on June 17, 2025. Born on June 3, 1946, Tillie brought light, laughter, and love into our lives through her caring and sarcastic nature. Known for her belief that everything happens for a reason and her insistence that worry does no good, she was a constant source of comfort and wisdom.

Tillie was the beloved wife of the late Nunzio Incorvaia, who she married in 1968. They welcomed their son, Salvatore, into the world on July 2, 1971. Tillie's love knew no bounds, and she expanded her heart even further when Salvatore married Julie, and they gave Tillie her most cherished roles of all—grandmother to Brendon (Skylar), Collyn, and Dylan Incorvaia.

A graduate of Webutuck High School, NY, class of 1963, Tillie was predeceased by her parents, Paul and Hellen Maier, her brother, Richard Maier, and her sister, Ursula Sonnenberg. Her life was a testament to her firm belief in self-care and self-love. These are the values she passed down to her family, who will continue to carry her spirit forward.

Tillie was a dependable pillar of strength and comfort for her family. Sal and her grandsons could always count on her for sound advice or a comforting word, regardless of the time of day or night. Her absence leaves an indelible void in the hearts of those who loved her.

In her passing, Tillie leaves behind a legacy of love and wisdom that will live on through her son and beloved grandsons, Brendon & his wife Skylar, Collyn, and Dylan. Her influence is deeply ingrained in their lives and will continue to guide them. She will be profoundly missed.
