Otis Carl Rushing Sr. made his transition to heaven on August 26, 2020 at age 71.
Better known as "Carl" to his family and friends, he was born to Otis and Josephine Rushing on May 18, 1949 at Charity Hospital in New Orleans, Louisiana. As a child, Carl was a member of the Woodcraft Rangers and became an avid gold medal swimmer.
Carl was educated in Los Angeles, California through his formative years and enrolled …
