It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Oscar "Papos" Martinez Jr. on April 26th, 2025. Born in 1994, Oscar, also fondly known as Papos by his family, was a vibrant soul whose personality shone brighter than his favorite colors, red and orange. He was a funny, loving individual, and a jokester at heart who taught us to love unconditionally.

A man of simple pleasures, Oscar enjoyed the taste of Hot Cheetos, Snickers, and McChickens with Mac Sauce, among others. His beverage of choice varied between Coffee with extra creamer, Squirt and Orange Fanta. He was known to have a fondness for honey buns, any ice cream, and toaster strudel.

Oscar took joy in fishing, skating, and eating good food. He thrived when surrounded by loved ones sharing a good meal. His favorite methods of exercise were skateboarding, a pastime which seamlessly combined his love of moving with his delight of being outdoors. 

His love for the TV show, "One Piece", mirrored his love for adventure and camaraderie. However, above all else, the cause closest to his heart was his family. He cared deeply about his loved ones, showcasing a legacy of kindness and generosity.

Oscar leaves behind his father, Oscar Martinez Sr., his mother, Dania Silva, and his stepfather, Francisco Silva. He is survived by his son Jacob Martinez siblings: Frankee Moreno, Giovanna Silva, Destinee Mazon, and Ezekiel Silva, all of whom are mourning the loss of their beloved brother.
