Oscar "Big 'O'" Gamble, a loving husband and cherished friend, passed away on May 13, 1980. Born on March 1, 1932, Oscar was known for his exceptional charisma and generous spirit.
Affectionately known as "Big 'O'", he preferred to be addressed by his given name, Oscar. Throughout his life, Oscar touched the lives of many with his warmth, humor, and kindness, leaving a lasting impact on all who knew him.
He is survived by his devoted wife, Barbra Gilliam Gamble, who remained by his side until the end. He is survived by 5 children . Yvette Denise Gamble, Oscatte Curtina Gamble, Minnette Kathleen Gamble, Oscar Carlos Gamble IV and Alyssa Kathleen Gamble. He is also survived by his Mother-IN -Love, Minnie Thomas Gilliam, his Mother Eva B. Gamble, of West Helena, AR. 2 Sisters Mideast’s Robinson of Atlanta , GA and Thelma Hammonds of West Helena, AR . He will be cherished by many nieces and nephews. Oscar was presided in death by 3 brother; Myles, Vernice, and James Gamble. His father, Oscar C. Gamble III passed away when Oscar was 3 years old. Oscar’s memory will be cherished by the countless individuals who were fortunate enough to have known him. He will be deeply missed, but forever remembered.
