Oscar's obituary
Oscar was married to Amalia Quinones, he was father to Mayu, Oscar (Karen), and Anahi Mercedes and a grandfather to Evelyn, Julia and Olivia.
From a young age, Oscar had a curious and inquisitive mind; a very creative person who would design and build great nativity sets. He loved working in his house, always designing and bringing to life new ideas.
Some of his hobbies were photography, gardening and exploring other countries.
Oscar was a man of strong catholic beliefs. When he was twelve years old his family moved from "La Ciudad Blanca" to Lima where he attended and graduated from Santo Thomas de Aquino, a catholic school led by Dominican Friars.
In his mid twenties, he worked at the Congress in Peru where he explored his passion for politics. It was during this time that he met Amalia. Later he graduated and worked as a professor at the Customs School of Peru.
He moved to the U.S. with his family when he was forty three, living in Washington DC for over ten years and later moving to Virginia. There, he worked at Congressional Country Club for over thirty years. He was loved and respected by his co-workers.
In one of his last travels he was able to fulfill his dream of visiting the Holy Land Jerusalem, where he visited Mount Olivet and the Jordan river. An experience that strengthened his faith.
Oscar was a loving father, husband, and grandfather. His love and devotion to his family will be missed.
