Oz's obituary

Oscar Wayne Brumbaugh, age 33,. of Durham, MO died Friday morning June 2, 2023 at Advocate Luthern General Hospital Emergency Room in Park Ridge, IL.

Oscar was born on Sept. 29, 1989, in Quincy, IL at Blessing Hospital a son of Stephen and Kim Brumbaugh.

Oscar started his own Tree Trimining business called Brothers Tree Service and enjoyed the outdoors where he would deer and coon hunt, he also enjoyed fishing, he rode horses, played basketball. He would do anything to spend time with his kids and would teach them how to hunt and bake cookies.

Oscar is survived by his father Stephen Brumbaugh, his children Ladanian, Kimberly, Miracle, Jupiter, Zykrian of La Plata, and one son named Zander Ohnemus from Quincy, IL; one sister, Terrie Ann (Ed) Nolder of Warsaw, IL; two brothers, Jamie Brumbaugh of Durham, MO, and Harley Brumbaugh of Springfield, MO; several aunts and uncles and several nieces and nephews including those that help care for him including Selena Dunaway of Quincy, Micala Clayton of Warsaw and Terran Thompson of Warsaw.

He was preceded in death by his mother Kim Brumbaugh, Maternal grandparents William & Georgia Tripp Sr, Uncle Marvin Tripp Jr, and Paternal grandparents Oscar Brumbaugh and Erma Cooper.

Pallbearers will be: Jamie Brumbaugh, Harley Brumbaugh, Ed Nolder, Jake Allensworth, Dayne Branham and Phillip Downs.
