Osawonyi's obituary

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Osawonyi Ayo Gbajumo on April 25, 2025. Born in 1961, Osawonyi was a vibrant and cherished presence in the lives of many. His warm and bubbly personality made him a beloved figure to all who had the pleasure of knowing him.

Osawoyi Ayo was an exceptional achiever who valued education and instilled this passion in those around.

Osawonyi is survived by a devoted family who loved him dearly. His sisters; Iria Ayodele, Nee Gbajumo, Sabina Adenuga, Nee Gbajumo Bose Gbajumo, Edowaye Adegoroye, Nee Gbajumo and Izin Aruwajoye Nee Gbajumo have been left with heartfelt memories of their brother. His brothers, Ehizogie Gbajumo and Bayo Gbajumo, will deeply miss their time spent together. Osawonyi's children; Oyinkan Han, Steady Gbajumo, Ayodeji Gbajumo, Regina Gbajumo, and Aden Gbajumo will remember their father's loving spirit and unwavering support throughout their lives.

Osawonyi was predeceased by his father, Chief Sunday Gbajumo and mother, Olufunmilayo Sabina Gbajumo, who both certainly left a lasting legacy through their son. 

Osawonyi's passing leaves a vacuum that can never be filled, but his zest for life, warmth, and love for education will continue to live on in the hearts of those he touched. Osawonyi will be sorely missed by family, friends, and all who had the pleasure of crossing paths with him.
