Orman's obituary
He was born December 31, 1937 in Lodi, Ohio to Earl and Elta Mae McVicker.
Orman had a wonderful childhood, surrounded by lots of family and friends. He was a talented athlete who played baseball and basketball and graduated from Spencer High School in 1956. He worked for Ford Motors in Cleveland, Ohio and then served in the Army from 1961-1963. After being discharged he worked at Lear Siegler in Elyria, Ohio for several years before marrying his childhood sweetheart, Mildred Sooy on Sept. 11, 1965, in the Spencer First Baptist Church.
He served as a deacon for many years and he and Millie were both active in AWANA.
They later moved to Tennessee in 1989, and during the remainder of his life they made their home in Tennessee, Mississippi, and Alabama.

He was preceded in death by his parents Earl and Elta Mae McVicker, daughter Janell Louise, parents-in-law Sid and Lucile Sooy, and brothers-in-law Wendell Sheffield and Bob Gourlay.
Visitation will be Tuesday, July 27, from 11:00 AM-12:00 PM at Parker Funeral Home, 202 E. Main St., Spencer, OH, followed by a memorial service at 12:00 PM.
The chaplain will officiate.
Inurnment will be in Spencer Cemetery.
