Orion's obituary
It is with great sorrow that we announce the passing of Orion Silva-Bruniany, who departed from this world on September 27, 2023. Born on September 19, 2001, Orion's life may seem short to many, yet those who were touched by him understood that the quality of existence far exceeds the quantity of time in which one lives.
Orion was a beacon of creativity and wit, lighting up every room he entered with his radiant personality. Empathic and intuitive, he had a penchant for understanding others on a profound level, often making individuals feel seen and heard when they needed it most. He was hilarious, often using his humor to brighten up the lives and days of those around him.
The imprint of Orion’s life, his love for his family and friends, and his extraordinary musical talents were his gifts to us all. He taught us to cherish our relationships with the people around us deeply, for it is those bonds that truly enrich our existence.
Survived by his loving mother, Delia Silva-Bruniany, his father, Damian Bruniany, his siblings, Mary, Jude, and James Bruniany, his grandparents, Carmen Hernandez, Carlos Silva, Swee Him Lim, and Cas and Kasia Bruniany, the loss of Orion is deeply felt by the many lives he touched. His legacy of love will continue to inspire and influence all who knew him, and his memory will live on in the hearts of many.
Orion made the thoughtful decision when he received his drivers license to be listed as an organ donor. His kidneys and liver were able to help three people (a 27 year old woman, a 33 year old man and a 64 year old man) have more time with their families that they otherwise would not have had. In a way, a part of him will live on now.
In lieu of flowers and in honor of Orion's memory, donations are currently being accepted for the Central California Asthma Collaborative. Contributions can be made at https://everloved.com/life-of….
Orion Silva-Bruniany, a presence irreplaceable and deeply missed, will be remembered for his extraordinary wit and sense of humor, his genuine expression, his musical talents, and his loving nature.
