Ora Bonnie Jones, 89, of Groves, Texas passed away Monday, May 10, 2010. Bonnie was born October 24, 1920 in Falls County, Texas to Albert Gibson and Ella Mae Taylor Gibson. She was a resident of Groves for 70 years and member of First Baptist Church-Groves. She was very active with Groves Senior Citizen Group, Groves Eastern Star Chapter 953, Volunteer for Doctors Hospital, and VFW #4820 Ladies Auxiliary. Funeral services will be at 10:00 a.m., Thursday, May 13, 2010 at Levingston Funeral Home in Groves with Dr. Joe Worley and Reverend Charles Miller officiating. Burial will follow at Oak Bluff Memorial Park in Port Neches. A visitation for family and friends will be held on Wednesday evening from 5:00p.m.- 8:00p.m. at the funeral home. She was preceded in death by her husband, Lloyd W. Jones. Survivors include her daughter, Debra Schwartzenburg and husband, Michael of Houston, TX; son, Lloyd Ronald Jones of Groves, TX; two sisters, Alma Miller of Groves, TX and Marcline Luckenotte of Aurora, CO; 3 grandchildren, and 3 great-grandchildren.
