Ophelia's obituary
Sister Ophelia "DeeDee" Vinson-Reid, affectionately known as Ophelia, passed away peacefully on April 18, 2025, just shy of her 69th birthday. Born on April 25, 1956, Ophelia dedicated her life to the service and betterment of others. Her legacy of kindness, compassion, and selflessness will be carried forward by those who had the privilege of knowing her.
She leaves behind her daughter Monica, her grandchildren, nieces, nephew, cousins & a host of others whose lives she touched profoundly. As we mourn her passing, we also celebrate the remarkable life of a woman who made a difference in so many lives. Ophelia's spirit will continue to live on in those she leaves behind.
