How you can help
In Loving Memory of Omar Morales
With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of our beloved Omar Morales — a devoted Dad, a loving Husband, a cherished Son, and a Brother in every sense of the word. To so many of us, he was simply one of the best friends a person could have.
Omar had a rare kind of heart. He was kind, selfless, easy going, and genuinely loving in a way that didn't feel performable — it just was him. His motivation was contagious. His artistic gifts were undeniable. His strength — physically and in spirit — was something you noticed the moment you met him. And if Omar loved you, you felt it. He didn't do anything halfway. He also had a gift for making people laugh — the kind of humor that caught you off guard and stayed with you long after the moment passed.
We'll never forget that big heart hiding behind his beautiful, shy smile.
Due to Omar's sudden and unexpected passing, his family is now facing significant financial hardship covering funeral and hospital expenses. In a final act that was pure Omar — strong enough to give even in his last moments — he had always wished to be an organ donor. Honoring that wish required him to remain on life support for several days, resulting in substantial hospital costs in addition to cremation expenses. His strength lives on in the lives he gave the gift of life to.
I am Chance Henry, one of Omar's closest friends. I'm asking anyone who loved him — or loves his family — to please consider contributing in any way you're able. That could mean a financial donation, sharing this page with someone who knew him, or simply leaving a memory or message about Omar below so his family can read it. In a time like this, your words mean just as much as anything else.
All donations will go directly toward cremation and hospital costs. Any remaining funds will go directly to benefit Omar's children. It's what Omar would have wanted.
With love and gratitude,
Gonzalo & Rita (parents) · Jeannette, Gonzalo & Pedro (siblings) · Ava, Malachi & Ariana (children) · Natasha (wife) · Andres (cousin) · his many friends who loved him Contribute
