Although I only met him that one time when we met in ABQ for dinner, I could tell hew was a compassionate, smart and caring person.  My thougts and prayers are with the whole family.  Craig

Seeing Olin's obituary brought back a flood of good memories.  I had known Olin for nearly 60 years.  During that time he was a mentor to me and a friend while we were at Penn.  He was one of the people who helped me get my job at LANL.  When I got to Los Alamos, Olin, Linda and the kids welcomed me into their home.  During our time at the LAMPF/LANSCE, we worked together and enjoyed each other's humor (his being dry).  Olin was a professional and a true scholar who definitely made a positive impact on the Lab.  Mary and I extend our sincere condolences to his family.  We lost good friend.
