Background
I met Olga a year ago at dunedin warehouse in Florida. She was accompanied by her two boys and husband. Our kids played together in the babysitter room. Olga aka Lola and I became good friends. She would come over for parties, to go swimming, our kids would play together. Her two boys, max and Lukas, were the loves of her life, next to her husband jason. She had a beautiful mom and wonderful father in Russia. She told me about her brother and sister there as well and her journey here 20+ years ago. Lola was one of the most beautiful, sweetest people I had ever seen. She was very smart, educated and excellent in HR because. She loved business but she loved people more and helping people. More than anything she loved her children. About one month ago, Lola woke up to her baby Lukas no longer breathing. This absolutely devastating incident forever effected her. Already struggling, this seemed to be the last straw. It seemed to take all of her hope and leave a hole for the vicious, baffling darkness to continue. Olga wanted the world to know of her struggles. She wanted the world to know that it didn’t care how smart you were, how beautiful you were, how much you loved your kids, how much your parents loved you- because addiction crosses all barriers and divides us until we are completely alone. It wants us dead but will settle for us drunk, high, angry or miserable. Please show Lola and her family the love and tolerance that we are taught; to love and forgive no matter what; to take care of each other. We are never alone. All we need to do is ask for help.
Olga may you now Rest In Peace and be with baby Lukas and know that Jason is taking care of Max.
Any funds raised will go directly to the funeral expenses for Olga and any remaining will go into a trust for baby Max.
