Theophilus James Olatoyinbo Lambo - Born October 20th, 1938, Departed October 12th, 2022. 

With gratitude and total submission to the Lord Almighty, it is with a heavy heart we announce the passing to glory of our brother, father, grandfather, cousin and in-law. He passed in the early hours of 13th Oct.2022 after a brief illness. He is resting on the bosom of God Almighty. Papa Stella our dear beloved brother. Which word can express our shock when we learnt you have gone to your creator. So gone are the days we used to sit together at your house to chat discussing our late parents and our togetherness.

“Olori Ebi ,our Patriach”. Although we are in Nigeria and you are far across the ocean in Maryland, America, we still frequently talk. And collectively you just always want to know about the welfare of everyone of us, you try to direct our ways of life as if we are still kiddies

Olori Ebiii ! Brother Toyinbo!! As a pastoral leader in your church Mount Zion Maryland, you preach the gospel with yearning as if it is your last day on earth each time. You focused on the old rugged Cross as if you cannot wait to meet your eternal creator - The Omnipotent, the Omni Science and the Omni Present!!

Your bombard our WhatsApp every time with doctrines from Mount Zion, long long epistles!! You are never tired of preaching the word of God. One week, you were poorly, the following week, Tuesday, while still on your bed, gesticulating with your two hands praying audibly with your daughter, Philippa and two members of your church you rededicated your life to Christ to make assurance doubly sure. Wednesday at 1.13am you took your last breath!

You could no longer wait because the Saints triumphant were already waiting for you at the heavenly worship. God granted you a beautiful calm exit, oyinbo you went to HIS presence. A Beautiful departure. You changed mortality for immortality .You dropped the perishable body for the imperishable body!

Praise God Almighty !! "Jehovah you are the most high God “ Our brother ‘s work on earth was completed; he has gone for the crown of glory waiting for him and to God’s heavenly mansion! No pain, no agony, you just slept the night and woke up in Heaven! That’s great!! Lord you are worthy!

What we have lost heaven has gained. Who are we to question God but to thank HIM that HE did not turn you into a resource devourer, languishing on bed. Your departure to eternity was swift and painless that it sent shock waves to us your siblings. God’s will was done!!!

Death you are a loser Jesus rose from death and our living Christ now sits at the right hand of God Almighty. So on the resurrection day our brother shall also rise with angels above.

True true dear brother, God has been your strength and in HIM alone, you lived, moved and had your being! HIS grace has been your succour!
