She was one of the sweetest people I have ever known. I remember first meeting with her when my family and I lived in Pearsall. She liked to visit with my aunt Eloisa and my Dad Ramon Perez when we used to go to Devine. Thank you for the memories of much better times. You will be missed cousin.
Ofelia, my first cousin on my father’s side will be dearly missed and remembered my me. I commend my mother for assuring that my brother and I spend at least one week at my father’s parents every year even though my Dad died a few months before I was born. Ofelia and I were the same age and quickly bonded. We have stayed in touch through all this years. She was a fountain of knowledge on my father’s family genealogy. I, however, am so proud that Marissa, her daughter has adopted this duty so beautifully. I am so proud of you Marissa. My thoughts are with you during this difficult time. Tommie Haliman
