It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of Odine Garcia; beloved mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, and friend. Born on December 20, 1970, Odine departed from this world on October 7, 2023. Her vibrant spirit and unmatched charisma will be sorely missed by all who knew and loved her.

Odine is survived by her loving father, Paul Mejia, Sr., and her siblings; her brother, Paul Mejia, Jr., her sister, Gloria Mejia, her brother, Manuel Mejia, and her sister, Gertrude Mejia, all of whom will cherish her memory. She was predeceased by her beloved husband, Reynaldo Garcia, and her mother, Carolina Pascual, whose memories remain a beacon of love in our hearts.

Odine was a devoted mother to her daughters, Katrina Mejia-Garcia, Trisha Mejia-Garcia, and Alexis Mejia-Garcia. Their bond was built on a foundation of love, respect, and mutual admiration. Her son-in-law, Isiack Gardner, will also forever hold her in his heart.

A doting grandmother, Odine found great joy in her grandchildren, Audrey-Maleia Garcia, Gregory Merthie III, Giannis Merthie, and Genesis Merthie. Her love for her family was boundless, extending to every corner of her life, filling it with warmth and joy.

Known for her funny and charismatic personality, Odine had a heart filled with love, a soul filled with strength, and a spirit filled with determination. She was a pillar of strength and embodied the true essence of living one's truth, never fearing to be herself, or to stand up for what she believed in. She believed in the power of perseverance, teaching those around her to never give up, no matter the circumstances.

Odine leaves behind a legacy of strength and passion, forever imprinted in the hearts and minds of those she loved. Her life was a testament to living fearlessly and loving deeply. Her lessons and love will continue to inspire and guide us for years to come, ensuring her spirit lives on, ever vibrant, ever present.
