Odessa Pitmon, 74, of Knoxville, Tennessee passed away peacefully on September 4th, 2025, surrounded by her family and loved ones.

Odessa was predeceased by her parents, Henry and Louise Pitmon. She is survived by her siblings Anton Pitmon, Courtney Pitmon, and Betty Jean Williams; great-nephews Miles Pitmon, Shawna Pitmon, her great-nieces Anderson Williams and Bailey Williams; and a host of cousins, extended family, and dear friends.

After graduating from Douglass High School, Odessa went on to study at Langston University, earning a degree in Education in 1972. Odessa was an avid artist and lover of all things creative. Her favorite medium was watercolor painting, and she especially enjoyed capturing flowers and natural landscapes. She participated in several local art fairs and church events, where her work brought joy to many.

The family asks that donations be made to the American Heart Association in memory of Odessa Pitmon.
