Background
Octavio Lopez also known as (Gustavo) or like our children would say (Stavo)😞, lost his battle to depression on 03/23/2025. We have two weeks to raise funds before its too late to fly him back. He was the brightest , kindest , most caring , positive and respectful human being I have ever met. 💔 His wife also just gave birth 3 weeks ago.. he was just talking about how happy and excited he was to meet her , showing off her pictures to us ,but did not get the chance to meet his babygirl.. Two years ago Octavio came to the U.S all alone to make money for his family back home. His mother is sick , and his little sister (Andrea Lopez) admired him for the sacrifices he made to help his familys’ living situation in Guatemala 💔.. My husband (Lane Briley) and I (Simone Gautreaux) have been his only form of “family” in America. We worked at the same barn ,with race horses , my husband taught him how to ride race horses (he was going to be a jockey by next year😭) , we taught him English , made him home cooked Louisiana meals he’d never even heard of , gave him clothes, he was at our home most of the time. All we did was laugh , there was NEVER a dull moment… Gustavo had goals that he was GOING to reach! His dedication was never unrecognized…. His mothers’ health is declining and has not seen his beautiful face in 2 years! They are counting on us , especially his baby sister to bring him back home. Please help us in this very dark and confusing time.. 🙏🏽💔 anything is appreciated. I believe a prayer is also considered a donation ! ANY thing helps!
