Novell Lunsford Young was born February 26th, 1937 in Garrison, Texas to James Hoyt Lunsford and Bessie B. Lunsford. Novell put up a courageous fight, unfortunately, she lost her battle on March 26, 2022. Novell was a wonderful sister, a loving wife, a terrific mother, and a great friend. She lost her mother at the age of 17 and her dad when she was 31. Her dad remarried to a wonderful woman we knew as “Grandmother” Helen Lunsford. Novell was preceded in death by her loving husband of 59 years Denver Young, and her brother Jerry Johnson. She is survived her children Darren Young, Randall Young and wife Jennifer, and Angela Young. She was the proud grandma to her seven grandchildren Devin, Benjamin, Matthew, Thomas, Emily, Grace and Ian. And now a great-grandchild Hudson. She is also survived by her brother Jack Johnson and wife Margie, and four sister-in-law’s, Janice Smith, Mary Johnson, Donnie Young, and Mavis Young along with numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, and cousins.
