Normand F. Chabot

Normand Chabot, 70, of Athol, Massachusetts, passed away peacefully on September 4, 2025. Born on January 20, 1955, to parents Donald and Audrey Chabot. Normand grew up in North Attleboro and attended North Attleboro High School. He later made his home in Athol, where he built a life rooted in love, family and simple joys.

He had love for scratch tickets and never missed a chance to cheer on his favorite team, the Boston Red Sox. Normand had a quiet charm, a big heart and a knack for bringing smiles to the faces of those around him. His heart belonged to his family, who he loved deeply. He was a true family man whose greatest pride and joy came from spending time with those closest to him.

Normand is survived by his wife, Kimberly, whom he was a devoted husband to for 35 years; He also leaves his loving mother, Audrey Chabot and children; Amber Chabot, Austin, and Preston.

Normand was a proud Papa and his legacy will live on through his grandchildren; Hailey Dalio, Madison Dalio, Romeo Marchand Jr., Anahbella Chabot, Greyson Savoie, Ayda Savoie, Everett Savoie and Sabastian Chabot.

He also leaves behind his siblings, Joseph Chabot and his wife Joan, Dennis Chabot, Debbie Coppolino, Karen Eckenrode and her husband Mike, and brother-in-law Joe Troy; and many nieces and nephews who will remember him as the fun Uncle with the best jokes and the biggest laugh.

In 2011, a piece of his heart was broken when he was predeceased by his eldest daughter, Stephanie Marchand, whom he missed dearly.

Normand was also predeceased by his father, Donald Chabot, his sister Jeannette Troy, sister-in-law Debra Chabot and a brother-in-law Frank Coppolio.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly asks for donations to help with the cost of final arrangements. The family will be holding a celebration of live to honor Normand. Details will be shared with loved ones once they are finalized.

Normand will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
