I've posted a couple of pics of happier times. Please know that Butch was very loved. His memory will always live in our hearts.  We do believe that Butch has transitioned to peace and rest. Peace be with you.

I'm having a hard time finding the words to express how dearly he was loved and what a precious nephew he was to me. I remember the freckle-faced little boy I called Cowboy, who could spend hours building amazing structures with his legos. I remember the teen who tried so hard to be the protective big brother to my niece. I remember the young man with the infectious laugh, the grown man whose love and compassion was evident to all as he began caring for his parents, being their rock and source of strength when theirs waned. I remember his bond with animals, taking in strays and loving them all. The memories live on and I'll cherish them all. He is missed beyond words.
