Normajean's obituary
It is with a heavy heart and sadness that I announce the passing of my mother, Normajean C. Gonzalez. She was a beloved mother, grandmother, sister, daughter, aunt, and friend. She held a number of jobs over the course of her lifetime, including working at dry cleaners and working for companies like Pertec, Scan-Optics, Santa Ana USD, and National University. In her spare time, she was a team mom for her son’s football and baseball teams, a volunteer at Northeast Santa Ana Little League (80’s - 90’s) and Orange Lutheran HS Snack Bar (87-90). She became a grandma in 2004, and moved from Orange County to Azusa, California shortly thereafter. Even though she moved to the San Gabriel Valley, she never forgot about Santa Ana, especially the memories of growing up there with her family, her extended family (the Lozano family of Santa Ana), and of special places like La Chiquita Restaurant in Santa Ana.
She was also known to some as the “Get off of the table” lady at NESALL. She was preceded in death by her father, Alfredo, and mother, Camilla, as well as her brothers, Danny and David. She is survived by her son, daughter-in-law, and four grandchildren. I will miss you mom. - YFS
Memorial service is scheduled for Saturday, November 13, 2021 at 10am at Fairhaven Cemetery Chapel.
