Gary and I always enjoyed talking with Norma over appetizers and dinner at Deb and Dave's house. She was clearly not only happy but content. We especially loved that Norma was sassy and wasn't afraid to speak up and always with kindness. The memorial gathering was beautiful; thank you for inviting us to attend. Our love and condolences to all who loved and appreciated Norma.

Dear Katherine, I so enjoyed Norma at the salon.  I am very sorry for your loss.  Sending love, Chris

I first met Norma 28 years ago at Harmon’s Beach on Sebago Lake when she spent vacation time there every summer. I was glad when she moved to Maine year round.

We spent a lot of time together at the beach, going for rides and out to eat, especially lobster dinners. She taught me and several other friends how to play Rummikubs.  We met on a regular basis to play and are still hooked on the game.  The rules varied over the years and she managed to keep track of the differences whether playing with family, friends or online.

Norma raised a wonderful family and I’ve had the pleasure of meeting many of them. She was a proud Mother and Grandmother.

I think of her often and miss her.

A wonderful neighbor at the lake. Never complained about the noise, joy and laughter coming from my home next door or the kids.
She always reminded me that she had five, so she was patient and kind.
Our youngest and his buddy one day decided to take her golf cart for a ride one day around the yard while I was at work! Norma was at her winter home at the time.
I got a call at work from our daughter telling me he and his buddy were riding around on Norma's golf cart. I was fuming!
Got home from work, had my son write her a letter telling her what he had done. He came down from his bedroom with $3.00. I asked what he was doing, 'sending Norma some gas money'
Three days later, my phone rang, Norma asked if Chris was home, she was laughing. They had a nice chat. All was good.
That's the kind of neighbor she was, very funny and kind.
I remember she told me in the letter that my son asked her not to talk about when she returned to Maine.
She is now an angel in heaven watching over her loved ones. Prayers are with her family at this difficult time
