Norma Herrera Flores, age 46, passed away on July 22, 2022, in Kansas City, Missouri

Visitation will be at 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm, Friday July 29, 2022, at 6120 NE 48th Street, Kansas City, Missouri 64119

Funeral services will be held at 9:15 am to 11:30 am, Saturday July 30, 2022, at 10400 View High Dr. Kansas City, Missouri 64134, Burial will follow at cemetery at 12:00 pm.

Norma was born in Zacatecas, Mexico to Amada Herrera Flores and Pablo Herrera on October 17, 1975. She married Jose Cruz Flores. She was an amazing woman who always was there helping people, even when she didn’t have anything. She was a strong, independent, single mother who would do anything for her kids. She always worried about others well-being, always giving in many kinds of ways. Making sure her love was shown to everyone. When she was diagnosed with cancer, she didn’t let that stop her. She fought for more than a year and never gave up. Even on her last days she fought to have the strength to communicate with everyone in the room. She will always be remembered as the kindhearted woman who never gave up.

Norma is preceded in death by her mother Amada Herrera Flores and late husband Jose Cruz Flores.

Norma is survived by her kids: Claritsa Flores, Jose Cruz Flores, Jolene Cruz Flores, Samantha Sarmiento, David Campuzano. Her brothers: Sergio Herrera, Alfonso Herrera, Mauricio Herrera, Omar Herrera, Daniel Herrera. Her Sisters: Amada Herrera Flores, Maria del Socorro Herrera Flores, Teresa Herrera Flores, Leticia Herrera Flores. Her father Pablo Herrera. Her grandchildren: Jaydan Rodriguez, James Rodriguez Flores, Lindsay Rodriguez.

Pallbearers will be Sergio, Alfonso, Mauricio, Omar, Daniel, Pablo

Memorials may be given to Claritsa or Jose to be read at the funeral service.
