Highly accomplished, Nori Marie was a proud graduate of Joliet Central High School in 2020 and had been accepted into college. Her passions were numerous, including swimming, dancing, cheerleading, reading, writing, and singing. As a food enthusiast, her favorites included Cajun Shrimp and Chicken Pasta, Crab Boil, Collard Greens, homemade Mac and Cheese, and Sweet Potato Pie. She had a deep appreciation for music, with favorites like Rod Wave, Jhené Aiko, The Weeknd, Juice World, and Young Boy. She also enjoyed playing Spades and was a dedicated fan of the Chicago Bears.
She loved spending time at Top Golf, in Las Vegas, and being with her younger siblings—often engaging in binge-watching TV shows such as Stranger Things, Rhythm and Flow, and Death Note. Nori Marie had a strong sense of justice and cared deeply about animal rights, women's rights, and African American peoples' rights. One of her best-kept lessons was teaching her siblings to always be there for one another. Nori Marie's notable legacy was her kindness and strong will, which will continue to inspire those who were fortunate to know her.
Her memory will be forever cherished by her beloved kitten, Twinkie.
