I remember meeting Nolan when he and Patrice were first dating, and thinking "wow, what a real genuinely sweet man!" Immediately I knew that he and she were perfect for each other. Nolan was true to his character at all times. Always a kind word and an inclusive demeanor. I remember he even telling me once, after hearing me sing karaoke, that I should do something with my voice. (I never did). I so miss the days when he and Patrice would come visit me at the beach in Carpinteria or when I would drive down to LA to catch one of their shows or celebrate a birthday. Just hanging out was a real treat.

What I will miss the most about Nolan was his unwavering love and dedication to his wife Patrice. It meant so much to me that my dear friend, Patrice of so many years, had found her soulmate and the love of her life. Nolan, I will miss your smile and your friendship and your warmth, my dear friend. Rest in the arms of the Lord. We will meet again, although not too soon.
